Brake-Force Display helps following drivers to judge your braking situation. Under full braking force, the illuminated surface of the brake lights increases. Traffic in the rear can immediately distinguish between light and full braking force - to the greater safety of everyone.

Soft top (closed): the generously lined soft top is a harmonious match for the sporting, dynamic design of the Z4 Roadster, and insulates the interior against noise and extremes of temperature. Available in Black, Grey and Dark Beige (see colour combination table).

Manual roof operation, central lock for single-handed operation; thanks to the special folding mechanism no canopy or top lid is needed.

Driving Dynamic Control (sport mode), at the touch of a button, engine response to the accelerator becomes even more spontaneous. With the auto matic gearbox, the sport program is engaged and gear shifts occur faster. Steering assistance is also reduced for improved feel of the road, and cruise control accelerates faster (standard on the Z4 2.5si and Z4 3.0si1).

The six-cylinder engine.
Rising smoothly and reaching 7,000 rpm, the performance curve of the BMW Z4 Coupé’s six-cylinder petrol engine is as impressive as the curves of its body. With an amazingly low power-to-weight ratio of 1.18kW/kg, the magnesium-aluminium engine delivers up to 195 kW of power and ensures this sports coupé can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds. Double-Vanos, Valvetronic and four-valve technology work in unison to maximise output and maintain absolute smoothness.
