Car/Key Memory1 allows you to program the settings on your BMW, for example automatically activating the low-beam headlights when starting the engine. Key Memory allows the encoding of functions such as a predetermined seat position onto the car key of each driver. Functions are activated when the central locking is operated.

The straight six-cylinder petrol engines.
The straight six-cylinder engine gives the BMW X3 an irresistable aura of strength. Technical highlights such as double-Vanos, four-valve technology and Digital Motor Electronics (DME) add intelligent responsiveness. Delivering outstandingly efficient output with unsurpassed smoothness, the 2.5-litre X3 2.5si delivers 160 kW of power and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds. The 3.0si, with an output of 200 kW, is 1.3 seconds quicker. If you believe all-wheel drive vehicles aren’t dynamic, get ready to be taught a quick lesson.

The BMW X3 2.0i has all the classic BMW traits: effortless revving, high refinement and optimum efficiency. Its four-cylinder petrol engine features double-Vanos and Valvetronic variable valve control, delivering 110 kW (150 bhp) and reaching 100 km/h in 11.5 seconds. All this adds up to lively performance and a top speed of 198 km/h.
